get your facts straight. The lead was 10 million on launch. It shrank 2 7 the following year, then grew to 8 last year mostly over the holidays.
most of the space for FFVII was taken up by cutscenes. If they remade it significantly, I'm willing to bet they'd do in engine cutscenes, which would cut down the size a LOT.
I bet FFVII would fit on one DVD if all they did was a graphical upgrade.
I would honestly pay decent money for the original game with no more than enough of an upgrade to get it to render in HD. Maybe with redone cutscenes.

because the original game costs upwards of $80 now and a remake or even a release as an arcade game would cost very little depending on how much they upgraded it.

Hot Pursuit was the best. I'm kind of surprised at myself for this, but open worlds kind of ruined running away from the police. It made it so much more difficult when you could only run in 2 directions and made it more about driving skill than about avoiding the police.
That game is the game that keeps me coming back to NFS, even though a lot of them such now.
not really... they're both amazing looking games. I'm sure if the NFS team released screenshots and said they were GT5P, you'd probably say they looked just as good as ever.

They not once said the CGI trailer was in game. They said from the start that it was being worked on by a completely outside studio, and they didn't even see it till it was near completion.
